Data Analysis Without Uploading — 100% Client-Side

Every cloud analytics tool has the same ask: upload your data to our servers. PondPilot takes a different approach — your data never leaves your browser.

How “No Upload” Actually Works

PondPilot runs DuckDB compiled to WebAssembly inside your browser tab. When you open a file, it’s read by JavaScript’s File API and processed locally by DuckDB WASM. The network tab stays quiet — no HTTP requests carrying your data anywhere.

This isn’t a marketing claim you have to trust. PondPilot is open source. Read the code, inspect the network traffic, verify it yourself.

Why This Matters

Regulated data: If you’re under HIPAA, SOC 2, GDPR, or similar frameworks, uploading data to a third-party tool creates compliance headaches. With PondPilot, there’s no third party involved in data processing.

Sensitive business data: Revenue numbers, customer lists, employee data — things you shouldn’t paste into a random web app. PondPilot processes them locally.

Personal data: Bank statements, health records, tax documents. Analyze them with SQL without trusting a startup with your most private information.

Not Just “Secure” — Architecturally Impossible to Leak

Most tools promise security through encryption and access controls. PondPilot’s architecture makes data leakage structurally impossible: there’s no server to receive your data. No database stores your queries. No logs capture your file contents.

Full SQL Power, Zero Compromise

Client-side doesn’t mean limited. You get full DuckDB SQL — joins, window functions, CTEs, aggregations — against CSV, Parquet, JSON, and DuckDB files. Multi-file sessions, syntax highlighting, autocomplete, and CSV export.

Offline Capable

Install PondPilot as a PWA and disconnect from the internet entirely. Still works. That’s what “no upload” really means.
